Christmas dinner, 2 days late

Since we were all at Disneyland for Christmas (except Teri and Clem), we had our dinner tonight at Kyra and Brad's house. Such good food; roast with potatoes and carrots, green bean casserole, "funeral" potatoes, topped off with pecan pie a la mode. So nice to be together.

Virtuoso

Kyra called me the other day and asked if she and Biggie could come over for a visit. Biggie had just been to the dentist here in Paso. After they'd been here for awhile, I let him try out the piano.

Lunch -again

Kyra now gets off work at noon so she got to join us for lunch at Olive Garden. Biggie loved his macaroni and cheese. Make sure you go and get two entrees for the price of one!

House hunting

Saturday, Kevin and I went house hunting with Danny and Jenny and Jenny's sister, Amanda and friend Quinn. This is the strangest house we looked at. Notice Jenny's baby bump in the second picture.

It was a dark and stormy night...

Yesterday afternoon, a storm blew in and lasted until early this morning.

Provo river walk

I walked for an hour along the Provo River yesterday. Very pleasant

Visit at Danny and Jenny's

You may have thought Danny doesn't like babies but I have proof to the contrary. Julia and I drove to their house last night and Danny volunteered to hold Zapp so Julia could eat her pizza.

I arrived in Utah yesterday morning and finally got to meet my newest grandson, Brannigan. He's just as cute as can be! Cody's friend, Sean, held him too.

Brad and I went to Olive Garden for lunch on Monday and I had to take these pictures of Biggie arranging his drink cups and eating spaghetti.

A leaf! You may ask yourself why she is posting a picture of a leaf. Well, I'll tell you why. I noticed yesterday morning while I was out watering that there were leaves on the ground and today it's supposed to be 106! That's all.

Chopsticks

I was hungry after my check in at Jenny Craig last week, so I asked my son-in-law (Kyra was working) if he wanted to join me for lunch at Sushi Kokku. He's always up for a meal so we walked over to the restaurant and Biggie tried his hand with the chopsticks.

Breakfast with Grizz

Biggie stayed overnight with us last night (again!) so his mommy and daddy could go to their high school reunion. We came up with a delicious breakfast; grapes, waffles and scrambled eggs. Biggie loves grapes!

Dogs in the window

Danny reminded us to be sure to wave to the dogs in the window before we left that Sunday afternoon. Look real close, you might be able to see them.

Clean-up

I stepped out the door this morning to go to the gym and found Kevin pulling weeds. And it wasn't even on his list for today! See how nice it looks after he cut back our out-of-control rose bush!

TCBY

After dining at Red Rock Friday night, with Danny, Jenny, Cody, and Julia, we walked over to get a frozen yogurt at TCBY. Danny asked a man sitting across from us to take our picture, so I handed him my phone for a shot too. Yes, that is me with my hair in a pony tail. I worked in Mandi's yard in the rain!

Family temple day

Since we were in Utah a day early, we made arrangements to attend the Jordan River temple Friday. Cody and Julia met Kevin, Mandi and I there. We got a lot of work done there! Thank you, Mandi for making appointments. It was a beautiful time and I won't soon forget it.

Breakfast with Rachel and Austin

I was starting my breakfast at Mandi's house Friday morning when Rachel and Austin came into the kitchen. I convinced Austin that he should eat breakfast so we all ate together. They go to the front door and Rachel has sandals on. I tell her she should walk on the sidewalk and this was their solution.

Olives!

Biggie discovered that olives are just right on his fingers. He has to outfit his whole hand before popping them in his mouth.

Brad's birthday

Yesterday, Kevin and I were at Kyra and Brad's for his birthday. I was staying out of the way while he was fixing dinner (what? He wanted to cook), when he called to me "mimi. You have to see what your grandson is doing". That's when I had to take a picture!

I'm so happy!!

Last month, Danny and Jenny announced their pregnancy for January, 2013. I am now the happiest grandma on the earth!
