sunday nursery

kyra and i are assistants in the nursery at church. this means that we get to play with children 18 months to 3 years old! well, the other day, after feeding the children blueberry muffins, kyra noticed there were crumbs on the floor. she got down on the floor under the table and started picking up the crumbs. the children thought that looked like fun so they got down on the floor, too. i just happened to have my camera so i started taking pictures and here they are!
isaac--he can be mischievious

payden--a big helper. you can tell he's the first-born in his family.

olivia--the only girl, she's very precocious. one sunday her dad sent her to me to say "good afternoon, kathleen" only she says "kafween". later, in class, i prompted her to say "good afternoon, sherri" to sherri goforth and she said "good afternoon, sherri goforth" and she said "sherri goforth" all afternoon.

trace--he doesn't talk much and the first toy he wants out of the toy cupboard are the animals that go in the "ark"

olivia and payden are building something. and that's how we spend our sunday afternoons!
