Memorial Day 2013

A couple of years ago, Kyra suggested we go to Los Osos Valley Memorial Park to see mom and dad's gravesite. I had the day off (Kevin, too) and decided to go to Los Osos yesterday. I thought it would be good to meet there just before lunch. I cut some flowers at home and ties them into a posy.
We arrived there after the program and we saw a helicopter and fire truck. I thought Winslow would be really excited to see a helicopter up close and actually sit in the pilot's seat but he wasn't that impressed. He couldn't stop talking about the fire truck!

    So nice to be able to visit the gravesite. This Memorial Day weekend was interesting to observe now that we live by a cemetery. The street was lined with cars and the cemetery was beautiful with all the flowers from visitors. It was neat to see!
